Portling Coastguard would like to issue a warning regarding items which are found on a beach. Please take great care when at the beach, items which are found there, can be extremely dangerous! On 29 July 2007, Portling CRT, Police and Royal Navy EOD were called to deal with an unexploded WW2 practice bomb which had been found. The bomb had been picked up by a member of the public and moved to an area near the caravan park. If you find any items and are not sure what they are please leave well alone and contact the Coastguard. Thank you.
