TIMES OF HIGH WATER (Upper Solway)
Port Carlisle - Book time + 1 hr 22 minutes
Anthorn - Book time + 1 hr 20 minutes
Annan Waterfoot - Book time + 47 minutes
Old Graitney - Book time + 1 hr 55 minutes
Sandsfield - Book time + 1 hr 50 minutes

In the region of Port Carlisle the tide will "stem up" (begin to flood) approximately 3 hrs 20 minutes before high water, after high water it will ebb for approximately 9 hrs 20 minutes - with a neap tide it will be approximately 4 hrs 20 minutes and 8 hrs 20 minutes.
The further one goes west of Port Carlisle, the more the tidal cycle will move towards 6 hrs 20 minutes flood and 6 hrs 20 minutes ebb.
